Are there any plans or is it possible to connect ODA to Hadoop?

We use a Hadoop database to store data.  Our RDBMS database is currently MySQL. We have overwhelmed MySQL.  We want to use ODA, but so far, we are not finding any way to communicate between ODA and Hadoop at a high rate of speed, i.e. like what can be done via InfiniBand using Exadata.

What can customers who have funding $$ for ODA , who need the speed of Exadata or the Big Data Appliance?   We found this product: Pivotal HD: “Hawq”.  (gopovotal.com)  We are looking at this as alternative to using Oracle since it can connect directly to Hadoop and has the ability to do RDBMS type work directly against Hadoop data.   Is Oracle aware of this competition?  Do you have an alternative solution?  Would like to use Oracle, but we need to hear some encouraging news about ODA connectivity/speed or some other Oracle product.
