batch posting security right in in different environment

Hi, can this be applicable after login to another environment Eg..PY while it the batch posting security right remain unchanged in PD ....meaning to say each environment have their own set of batch posting right being assigned to specific user..

Can we only assign a user with batch posting access right in PY environment while no change in the PD environment?

any clues,...?
