How to rename periods which are incorrectly defined in accounting calendar

We were setting up the Fiscal year calendar in OIC application in one of our environment. Setup Calendar values in accounting screen

Navigation: GL Setup -> Financials: Calendar -> Accounting (D2K form).

However, the period name for few periods were entered incorrectly.

Navigation: Compensation Manager -> Set up -> Maintain Compensation Periods

Those incorrect periods were updated on cn_periods table as well. Could you help us if the incorrect period names can be revert back or can be edited?
