Changing a warning to a hard error

I'm not sure if this belongs in this forum or the CNC forum....

When performing an inventory transfer from one branch plant to another, if the location does not exist at the other branch plant, a warning is displayed indicating that the location is not found and will be created.  We'd like that to be a hard error.  I know how to change it in the data dictionary but is there a way to find out where else that message is used?  In the data dictionary, the message is defined as data item 121d but is there a way to search for that data item in the cross reference utility?  I want to
