Copy Contract functionality doesn't copy Transaction source field

In PeopleSoft Financials 9.1, Copy Contracts functionality doesn't copy over the Transaction source field value to the new contract.

Steps to follow

1. Create a new Contract

2. In the General page, choose Copy from Contract

3. Choose the Contract from which the information must be copied over.

4. Make sure to choose Copy lines check box.

5. After the information is copied, see that the Transaction source value isn't copied over to the new Contract lines.

Is this the delivered functionality? Or is there a config/code change that can be done to accomplish this field information to be copied over.

Please advise.
