Project Performance - How often do you run it?

All,

I'm onsite at a client and they believe they need to run PRC: Update Project Reporting Base Summaries and Performance Data more then once a day to see the labor distribution costs updated in their cost forecast.  We've had an SR open to support regarding the issue and have review Project Performance Concurrent Requests: Overview and FAQ (Doc ID 364621.1). 

Can you tell me if you run PRC: Update Project Reporting Base Summaries and Performance Data more then once per day?  If so, what system impacts have you seen?  Any data corruption?  What's your business requirement to run this more then once per day, week, etc?
