Reverse button on Project Assets window

HI,

   Just want to know what is the purpose of the Reverse button which can be found in Assets window of Project accounting.

   Navigation:

   Project responsibility > Capitalization > Capital Projects > Type Project in the project number field > Click on Find Button > On Capital Projects window click on Assets > On the lower part of the Assets window Reverse button can be seen.

   1. What is the function/purpose of the reverse button?

    2. Will it be able to reverse the Asset in PA?

    3. If the assets were already transferred to FA and already created a journal entry in GL. IF i use the reverse button in Asset window will it also reverse the entry in FA and GL?
