Receiving transaction processor (RVCTP) fails with deadlock

We have an issue where RVCTP fails with deadlock : waiting for resource error. We have setup self-incompatibility for this program. Please suggest possible reasons for failure of RVCTP with deadlock.

Also please advice if Refresh Collection Snapshots can cause any issue with RVCTP or both should be incompatible?
