Confirm receipt workflow - go to receiving link

We are investigating the functionality introduced with this worklow and have a question on the go to receiving link which can be selected from the notification when part receipts need to be entered.

When chosen, the link navigates to the self service Receive Items: Select items screen but does not pass through the transaction details so the user has to search for it.

Is this intended functionality or have we missed some configuration?
