Web Enablement(A9.2) and UPK(12.1) - editting the .JVM files

I am attempting to edit the .JVM files noted for change when accessing UPK within WORLD Web Enablement.

Unfortunately, using Notepad did not allow the changes to be saved back to the IFS. I was successful with using EDTF for one of the files but the other loads as if it is empty.

I am signed on as QSECOFR so I do not think authority is the issue.

I must be missing something... any help would be greatly appreciated.
