golden gate to upgrade database

Hi

Is it possible to use golden gate to upgrade and migrate a database running on AIX 5.3 9.2.0.8 to OEL  11gR2 (11.2.0.3).  If yes, is there any reference / document detailing the steps.  I am new to the golden gate and trying to understand the process and procedure on how to achieve this with Golden Gate.
