What exactly is 'Int Req Sub Xfer'?

Dear All,

While going through the seeded transaction types in Inventory Management (Inventory -> Setup -> Transactions -> Types, System tab); I found one transaction type 'Int Req Sub Xfer'. Does this mean, we can create an internal requisition in order to transfer material from one subinventory to another?

Please let me know if I am not clear enough about the question.
