Hi, kindly help clarify if my definition on the above Data Source and its logical tables is correct or not ?

Data source is the location where the logic will access to. Normally in JDE data source, it is divided into 4 logical tables which are business data, system tables , control tables and central objects..

Business data are those data like master data and transactional data  Eg..F4201.proddta,  F4211.proddta

Every environment has their own business data

System data are those tables are shared across all the environments.  Eg user profile F0092.sy910

Control Table are those setup each module's data layout. Each environment have their own set of control tables.  Eg, Next Number table F0002.ctl910

Howdy, Stranger!
