Duplicated Depreciation with Compute Direction P

Running in 8.12

When running the Depreciation by periods R12865 in final for all assets twice for the same period, the depreciation of 25 assets duplicated.

These assets are set up with a compute direction of P.

There are a number of other assets which are set up in exactly the same way where the depreciation was not duplicated.

My question is why did some assets have their depreciation duplicated while others did not?

What other factors exist that would effect this?

Unfortunately the reports where deleted form the submitted job queue so I cannot even investigate this way.

Can anyone shed some light on why this would happen? It would not be bad if it was consistent across all assets set up in the same way. At least this can be explained.
