Hi all,

We have performance issues on DB2.

As a db performance test, I did these steps on a test machine:

1) set up JDE 9.1 with DB2 9.7

2) import business data and control tables of production DB2 db

3) install Oracle

4) define new business data and control tables data source connected to the Oracle

5) copy business data and control tables records from DB2 to Oracle with R98403B

6) define new environment using Oracle business data and control tables

7) run MRP ube R3482 twice in DB2 environment and Oracle environment

The processing times are:

DB2 environment 1st   : 2 hours 19 minutes

Oracle environment 1st: 9 minutes

DB2 environment 2nd   : 2 hours 11 minutes

Howdy, Stranger!
