Period of Supply

Hello Team,

I'm into a configuration of longer lead time items those having a lead time of 30-45 days. I'm using period of supply with 7 days. I assume following this set up, MRP would suggest required quantity after every 7 days to cover up lead time.

In this case, what should be the freeze fence. because if you include even 2-3 days of freeze fence (similar to Mfg items) that means you're adding up further delay in placing order.

Can you share some thoughts on this?
