Changing ERPi Data Source from MS SQL to Oracle DB

We're re-platforming our PeopleSoft Financial environment from MS SQL to Oracle DB. Our Hyperion Planning (11.2.2.300) applications ingest data from that database. We had to set up some pretty intricate (to me, at least) synonym databases and views that I've heard, will not be needed after we migrate. Does anyone having done this before have any links to documentation or other words of sage advice that might help us determine what, exactly, needs to be touched in ERPI and ODI for this to work?
