Eliminate obsolete work order balance records?

 

Our manufacturing accounting process requires us to write work order detail to the general ledger. These work order related balances are carried forward from one fiscal year to the next without end.  This is causing excessive growth in the volume of data in the F0902 file.  Work order balances have a shelf life of relevancy and are not needed indefinitely at the subledger level.  We have no process in place to clear them and prevent them from rolling forward.  The volume has become significant.
