How to setup a mask or format for the supplier contact phone number (in address book window)

Hi,

Currently there are tons of suppliers with different format within the supplier contact phone number (in address book window). I need to setup a mask or format in the html so all the new information entered into oracle follow the formatting that we want (consistent format). How is a mask or format defined in the web pages?
