alter diskgroup mount hangs -- no errors

Hi all,

in a two node Rac (10r2 on linux redhat release 5.1) I've added two new diskgroups.

On node 1 everything worked fine:

- LUNs discovered by multipath;

- fdisk partition ok;

- kpartx -a partition ok;

- oracleasm disks created;

- ams diskgroup created and mounted;

now, node 2 does not mount the diskgroup.....any step before the "alter diskgroup xx mount;" worked fine.

Nothing in alert log, the command simply hangs.....in trace file something has been wrote, but I'm not able to

relate it with the problem I'm investigating for:
