Workflow for Closed Date Field Reflects Date of when Opportunity was Closed/Won
We have a situation in CRM OD where Sales Reps are winning opportunities and changing the status of the opportunity to Closed/Won. This is great, however, they are forgetting to change the Close Date. So, when looking at all the Won Opportunities we have Close Dates that are future dated.
Is it possible to have a workflow created in CRM so when a Sales Rep changes the opportunity status to Closed/Won, the Close date field automatically reflects the same day the Opportunity was closed? Perhaps, the Close date can go off the modified date once the Sales Rep changes the status to Closed/Won. Is this possible?
