Using DICOM with Oracle WebCenter Content, Part 1

Installation of the DICOM component

The Oracle DICOM component for Oracle WebCenter Content is a collection of services that allows users to check in and process DICOM content in the Content Server.  DICOM content can be managed with all the features of Oracle WebCenter Content. This post will illustrate with screen shots the steps to start using this component, documented in Chapter 3 of the Oracle® WebCenter Content DICOM Support and Configuration Guide.


Note: If you are also using the Oracle DICOM protocol adapter with Oracle WebCenter Content, the Oracle DICOM component has to be installed first, before the Oracle DICOM protocol adapter.
