Stocking type 0 and sales

Hi

We are setting up kits for sales, but also we need the same kits to be included in several configurated products, so we have set up another item number as a phantom for using this kit on the part list

so we have 2 very similar items one as stocking type K and another   as stocking type 0, how we can avoid to enter a sales line using the stocking type 0 item?

example

we have part A and part B

we set up a kit stocking type K

Item KAB

part list

1 unit of A

3 unit of B

now we need to be able to insert this kit on a part list, so we set up a phantom item with stocking type 0
