Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Guide us steps by step to perform un-planned Accumulated depreciation.

Dear Experts,

Kindly guide us which are the right steps we need to adjust accumulated depreciation amount and NBV.

Currently we practice these following steps:

Case No.1

First we adjust unplanned depreciation.
Again we adjust unplanned depreciation.
Then Apply new method (WDV_NBV) on Running asset.
And last we Run depreciation.

Case No.2

First we Apply new method (WDV_NBV) on Running asset.
Then we adjust unplanned depreciation.
And last we Run depreciation.
