Applying April 2014 CPU patch 17631891

Hi,

In My Oracle Note 1614525.1, under additional note it is written as "If the protocol.ora changes are overwritten when AutoConfig is run, apply the relevant patch from the table below." The relevant patch for our system is Patch 18115871.


But the protocol.ora file doesn't exist in our system at all. Please advise what needs to be done?
