Question on Prereq patches and Post patches for RPC1 (patch 17774755)

Hi,

Need clarification of dependencies for EBS 12.1.3+  Recommended Patch Collection 1



We are preparing for application of patch 17774755: Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3+ Recommended Patch Collection 1 [RPC1] and need clarification on patch dependencies.  Document 1638535.1 explains that  EBS RPC 17774755 includes RPCs for the ‘Financials’ product family and multiple Financials products are listed in the table below this heading.  It is our understanding that we can ignore prerequisite, post requisite and co-requisite patches for each of the patches listed in this table, as they are INCLUDED in patch 17774755. Please see examples below for which we need clarification:

EXAMPLE 1:  patch 17176060:R12.AP.B is listed in the Financials product table in
