One of production database generating more archives

Hi Team,

One of production database generating more archives and taking backups are very difficult to tape.

In environment ,directly backups to tape  through rman hot backup. i found the database size is only 6GB but generating archives for day is more than 200GB. its very difficult to handle.

Please can any one help why this mutch archives generating and which user is generatimg more archives ? if we fing then we will check with application user.

Also every 10 mins archive backup is running but it is in queued.
