Item made inactive when having a active purchase order line. No warning given.

Item made inactive when having a active purchase order line. It did not give any warning.

Item was made

1. non stockable

2. non transactable

3. non purchasable

This is in contrast to the functionality when there is an open sales order line to be shipped. At that time, it gives a warning saying open transactions or onhand exists for an item.

Please confirm that there will be no warning saying that there are open transactions (yet to receive), when there is an open PO line but the item is made inactive. Is there a way to incorporate this functionality (some setup)?
