Hyperion Services Startup Type Issue

All the Hyperion startup types in Windows' Services always reverts back to Automatic after I change them to Manual.  What is causing this and does anyone know how to make it stay on manual?  I have created a temporary bandaid, but I need a permanent solution.  There does not seem to be a solution on the Internet. 

I have attached a screenshot, if you are not sure what I am seeking.  I have changed the services to manual.  Later, it will revert back to automatic.
