Error while applying patch#18136417

Hi,

Our patching team is facing issues when applying the patch 18136417 (Doc ID 1662953.1) in our R12.1.3 environment. Oracle suggested applying the following RPC.

     For DBMS 11.2.0.3 apply Database Patch 16706896 or for DBMS 11.2.0.4 apply Database Patch 17402822, then re-apply Patch 18120913.

Is this RPC really required?


We are implementing Oracle SLM and Sourcing modules. We don't want to apply procurement RPC + RUPs to add complexity to our project, unless it is warranted. We already have the patch 17525552:R12.PRC_PF.B (Doc ID 1591198.1) in our environment. Please advise.
