Unapplied Receipts Journal

Hi All

On the Unapplied Receipts Journal, is it possible to get it to balance to the GL for a time period?  Meaning, if I need to see what was unapplied in the AR module for the month of Jan 2014, would this report work?  I understand as receipts are applied that they will fall off this report, so does anyone know of another report that would show a snap shot of the unapplied for a past period?
