A few questions about multiple tablespaces to support "business data"

Hey, gurus,

 

I am ABSOLUTELY new for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. So, if I am asking some "answered" questions, please orientate me to the correct directions (URLs or BLOGs or anything that I can quote quickly).

The following are my challenges:

1) A few transaction tables or history tables are getting too big

2) The business side has a snail-speed "motion", yet a plan for purging

3) I like to split "business data" to multiple tablespaces, and each such a tablespace would be a BIGFILE tablespace

4) However, I read somewhere in the documentations that one MUST use the "standard" tablespace name for JDE EnterpriseOne
