Opening HFM forms in Smartview and period keeps reverting to a prior period

This is strange.  Version 11.1.2.2.300.20

I have had users complaining about this but I could never replicate until now.

When they open a web form via Smartview, the period reverts to the prior period.  With every form they open, it keeps going back another period.

In other words, I could open a form, the period is May.  Close that form and open another, the period is April.  Close that form and open another, the period is March.  It is maddening.  I can not figure out why it keeps going back a period -1 each time.   Its like it is not retaining their pov but going back a period.
