Smartview is displaying parent/child relationship in same cell when zooming in

When zooming in, using Smart View 11.1.2.5.200 with Excel 2010, Essbase is returning the dimension relationship between lvl 0 and lvl 1 in the Excel cell.  The discription looks like this [parent].[child], where parent is lvl1, and child is lvl0.  Is this a setting set locally to the end user workstation or is this a server side setting?  How do you display just the child value in the cell?  How do we turn this off?
