problems scp large files

We have following version of Solaris installed ->

Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 s10s_u11wos_24a SPARC

We have also default version of openSSH

Sun_SSH_1.1.5, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090704f

When we try to scp file between two servers running the same version of OS and ssh all is working fine for files smaller than 6G. Around that size transmission will not complete. Could you please advise if we need to use some switch for larger files?
