Purging XML data in Payables Open Interface Import even though Purge = 'N'

Hello

We are in R12.1.3 and observing that data getting deleted after running Payable Open Interface Import program even though Purge parameter was 'N'. Output of the Payables Open Interface Import program showing rejected invoices with reasons in the output file and also deleting the data from the interface table which we dont want.
