Copy data from old column to new column

Hi,

I am not an Oracle database expert and it is my first time to copy data from old column to new column. And, I have to know what is the process of copying the data from one column to another column with the same table.

Do you have any idea on how to copy data from old column to new column? We use Oracle Database 11g R2 as our database in Siebel.
