Consolidation account type of [POWN] system account is not updated after deployment

We are developing a new application in version 11.1.2.3.100.4261.

In an attempt to enable the consolidation module, we started loading values in the [POWN] account. During this we identified that values are not copied to the following periods as used to be in the past.

This is because the acount type of POWN system account is BALANCE and not BALANCERECURRING. In an attempt to fix this we redeployed the metadata with the new consolidation account type (BALANCERECURRING) but no change happened in the application. When we checked the database, the account was flagged with consolidation type 4(BALANCE) instead of 11(BALANCERECURRING).
