Siebel 7.6 search spec on pop up applet

Hi

Im going to develop a search spec that involves getting values from the parent. The value from the parent is a calc field. I just wanna know the best way to get the value of the parents calc field. The reason why I'm asking this is because I'm having bad luck using search spec that involves non tangible data like calc fields. I'm not sure if that calc field would calculate wrongly when I use that field.

Applet: Pop Up Applet

BC: MACD Asset Mgmt - Asset XA

Class: CSSSWEFrameListPopup

SearchSpec: generic logic + calcfield of parent

Parent BC: Asset Mgmt - Asset
