Interim payments - direct deposit

Hi,

I process quarterly checks to our employees that start at $10.  If I wanted to to have the payments be directly deposited and an employee has multiple bank accounts can I direct the payment to be sent to the first account listed in their Auto Deposit info?  How does the payment get allocated when there are multiple accounts and the payment is a small amount?
