How to find the business group for all workers in HCM

Is there a way within R12.1 HCM to search for a person using their employee number or name and find their business group?   We have 20+ business groups, and have both contingent workers and employees.   When we get a request like "my employee ID is 12345, can you change my nickname" it is a hassle to figure out which business group houses that person, so a way to find the business group would help, then the user could select that responsibility and then fix the record.  The HR Person Search screen in SSHR only works for finding employees, not contingent
