High Waites on "shared server idle wait"

Oracle database 11g Release 11.1.0.7.0 - 64bit

Platform Windows 2008 R2


Hi,


The "shared server idle wait" is always the first of my Top 5 Timed Events in the Statspack reports. The shared_servers parameter is set to 1 and dispatchers parameter is set to XDB service.

I think the shared server and dispatchers settings are set by default to 1 resp. XDB service but I dont have that idle event showing up in any other database performance report. How can I eliminate this event from my top list?
