Moving of OLM data from old BG to New BG

in Human Capital Management - EBS (MOSC) Question

We have created a new business group (new business group was created as currency and work structure was changed) and now planning to move OLM setup from old business group to new business group. Is it possible to just change BG ID in OLM tables to point to the new business group instead of following traditional approach to move component wise OLM setup from old BG to New BG.
