'W' status in submitted job

Hi,

Just wondering normally what could be the rootcause of this error  'W'? Initially they failed to submit job due to error accessing to logic server...then they restarted the server, they got some jobs ended up with  'W',,   can i just put these 'W' jobs onhold so that it won't cause other jobs queue up...?  Or the ideal way is to delete this type of job and resubmit again..
