EM12 - how to temp exclude Workflow Mailer from monitoring

Hi!   I have been asked to stop monitoring our Workflow service - since they are not going to be running in our development instances.  

We would like remove it from the system dependencies so that it doesn't make the environment status show as being down.  And then for other environments where it could or should be working can we go ahead and enable it?  Would we have to stop monitoring each component? 

OEM would provide a more meaningful status rather then showing that all of our environments are always down.
