RIDC or SOAP for WCC ?

We need to know which method is optimum in terms of speed and resource usage for a client application built in Java that will access UCM operations (AdvanceSearch and Checkin) between RIDC (socket) and SOAP

considering it is a high-transactional system almost half a million( searchs and checkins) ???

We already read this note Overview of Advantages and Disadvantages of using CIS, RIDC, SOAP and WSDL to Integrate an Application to the Content Server (Doc ID 789774.1) We think the best choice would be RIDC but what we want to know you opinion or experience in this specific situation and also arguments to be sure of this choice.

Howdy, Stranger!
