The differences between citrix machine - thin client and fat machine on OMW

Hi, After they checked out a report from fat machine, the thin client (citrix user) failed to open the report unless fat machine user released the token then it will be ok for thin user to open that report. 

User asked why can't thin machine user can't open the report even though the report is released with the token ??Is that part of limitation when running citrix machine OMW ?
