Severity 3 SR 3-9097676521 : db_recovery_file_dest_size 100.00% full and cannot login to rman in ord

Hello community,

I would like to ask you because the answer of the Oracle support takes to long for me. The issue:

- my FRA is 100% full (error: ORA-19815: WARNING: db_recovery_file_dest_size of 16106127360 bytes is 100.00% used, and has 0 remaining bytes available. )

- Oracle support recommends:

You can consider two things here
1.You can increase the db_recovery_file_dest_size
SQL> ALTER SYSTEM SET DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST_SIZE=Xg SCOPE=BOTH;
-- Replace X with a number larger than the current and ensure is sufficient space in the destination
2. You can move some of the archives to another location to make FRA free for some percentage.Then you can take backup of the archives and delete it.
