Script to create Payables Periods

Hi all,

Is it possible to write a script for inserting and opening Payables Periods?

The same I do by

General Ledger Super User responsibility

Select Setup-> Financials -> Calendars -> Accounting.

and by Payables, Vision Services responsibility

Accounting -> Control Payables Periods.

As I understand, the tables GL_PERIODS и AR_PERIODS  are not enough to fill. May be there is some API to fill it?
