Intercompany journal entry line between FA and GL

Hi,

I have a difference of the inter company journal entry line due to a system issue. R 12.1.3 FA inter company was recorded and posted incorrectly. This was transferred to GL where the  inter company line was corrected and posted.

My question is what effect does the incorrect FA journal entry line have? Testing has shown that GL does not recalculate the incorrect FA journal entry line. I don't see where the difference in the GL line and the FA line will ever be an issue.These inter company accounts would not be posted to GL again?
